2019 season- The MEAC was 4-0 against the SWAC, including the 2019 Celebration Bowl win for NC A&T over Alcorn State, 64-44. 

2021 season- The SWAC and MEAC tied 3-3 in head-to-head competition: 
  • MEAC wins: NC Central 23, Alcorn St 14; SC State 42, Bethune-Cookman 35; SC State 31, Jackson State 10 (Celebration Bowl)
  • ​SWAC wins:  Alabama A&M 42, SC State 41; Mississippi Valley State 17, NC Central 16 ; Florida A&M 30, SC State 7
 
2022 season-  The SWAC and MEAC tied 2-2 in head-to-head competition:  
  • SWAC wins: Alabama State 23, Howard 13;  Florida A&M 20, SC State 14. 
  • MEAC wins: SC State 33, Bethune-Cookman 9; NC Central 41, Jackson State 34 OT (Celebration Bowl)

2023 season-  The SWAC was 2-1 in head-to-head competition:  
  • SWAC wins:  Jackson State 37, SC State 7 (MEAC/SWAC Challenge); Florida A&M 30, Howard 26 (Celebration Bowl)
  • MEAC wins:   NC Central 45, Mississippi Valley State 3

2024 season-  The SWAC was 3-1 in head-to-head competition: 
  • SWAC wins: Florida A&M 24, Norfolk State 23 (MEAC/SWAC Challenge); Florida A&M 22, SC State 18; Jackson State 28, SC State 7 (Cricket Celebration Bowl, Atlanta, GA)
  • MEAC wins: NC Central 31, Alabama State 24 

2025 season-

  • MEAC wins: NC Central 31, Southern 14; Howard 10, Florida A&M 9; SC State 55, Bethune-Cookman 41; NC Central 45, Florida A&M 7.
