Who We Are
The Underdawg is a National Online/Social Media Reporting platform for NCAA Div. I FCS Football and HBCU Football (SWAC and MEAC). We seek to expose FCS and HBCU teams, players, and conferences positively through general sports information sharing while advocating fair and equitable treatment of student-athletes.

Lead production, direction, and composition of The Underdawg site is administered by an FCS/HBCU graduate, alumni supporter, and fan (Owner/Operator, Reggie Thomas)

Our Vision
We seek to provide quality content and be the leading voice in producing justice in collegiate sports media.

Why the FCS?
As many sites and publications are devoted to covering news around the popular NCAA Div I FBS schools and conferences, The Underdawg is focused on uplifting the awareness of “underdog” schools and conferences of the FCS, as well as, HBCU's through sports information. These schools are growing in game attendance, media coverage, player recruitment, fan-base popularity, and competition.

Why “The Underdawg”?
"Underdawg" denotes an under-represented and under-exposed group within a particular environment. The FCS and HBCU's fit into this category.

Why "Sports by Unpopular Demand"?
The noted slogan “Sports by Unpopular Demand” is a catch phrase indicative of an underdog being the unpopular or non-favorite choice in competition. It describes the unofficial, unpopularity of our focus - FCS, HBCU's, and student-athlete equity- in the general media.

Business Solutions

* Social media posts
* Emails and/or letters to news sources and outlets, schools, etc.
